How this website handles what you send us

This is not the school’s privacy policy
This page describes what happens to the information you type into a form on this website. It is a description of how the website works, written by the people who built it. It is not the school’s privacy policy.
When the school publishes its own policy, it will appear here.
What each form asks for
Five forms, and what each one wants.
Admission enquiry
Your name, your mobile number, your email address, your child’s name, the class you are asking about, and anything you choose to add.
Registration for admission
Your child’s full name, their date of birth, the class applied for, their gender, your full name, your relationship to the child, your mobile number, your email address, your residential address, the category you are applying under, whether you want school transport, and anything else you choose to add.
Scholarship application
The student’s full name, the class applied for, their present school, the parent’s name, a mobile number, an email address, and a stream preference for Class XI.
Summit registration
Whether you are registering as a delegate or otherwise, your full name, your school, your class, your experience, your committee preference, a mobile number, an email address, and any notes for the secretariat.
Teaching application
Your full name, your mobile number, your email address, the post applied for, your subject, your highest qualification, your years of experience, a short note, and your curriculum vitae.
Fields you leave blank are not stored at all.
Where it goes
What happens when you press send.
Pressing send stores what you typed in the school’s own database, and records the time, the page of this website you sent it from, your network address and the browser you used.
It is then shown in the school office’s admissions panel, which is the system the office uses to answer you. Nothing is sent to any advertising, analytics or marketing service.
The site sends emails about your submission: a confirmation to the address you gave, and a notification to the school office. These go through an email delivery service on the school’s behalf. The email you receive carries a reference number so the office can find your submission when you telephone.
If the database cannot be reached at the moment you press send, you are told plainly that it did not go through and given the school’s telephone number. Your submission is not thrown away: it is set aside and shown to the office so they can put it back.
Who can see it
Signed-in school staff, and nobody else.
Only members of school staff who have been given an account on the admissions panel. Signing in requires an email address and a password, and every account is created by an administrator at the school — there is no public sign-up. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash and cannot be read back by anyone, including us.
Every time a member of staff opens a submission, changes it, or downloads a file attached to it, that action is recorded with their name and the time.
Files you attach
A curriculum vitae never becomes a public file.
A curriculum vitae attached to a teaching application is stored separately from the rest of your application.
It is never published and has no public web address. The only way to open it is through the admissions panel, signed in as a member of staff; the request is refused otherwise. It is never attached to an email — the school office is given a link into the panel instead.
Files must be 5 MB or smaller, and must be a PDF, Word, OpenDocument, RTF, plain text, JPEG or PNG file. Anything else is refused when you try to send it.
How long it is kept
Nothing is deleted automatically.
At present nothing is deleted automatically. The school has not set a period after which finished records are removed, and the website does not assume one.
If you want your details removed, write to the school and ask; the office can remove a submission and any file attached to it.
Reading the site
What simply visiting costs you.
This site sets no cookies. It stores nothing in your browser — no local storage, no session storage. It carries no analytics, no advertising and no tracking scripts of any kind.
The one thing a page fetches from anywhere other than this site is its typefaces, which come from an outside font service. Your device asks that service for them directly, so that service receives your device’s network address as part of the request. Everything else on a page — every photograph, stylesheet and script — comes from this site.
Links to the fee portal, to social media and to WhatsApp take you to services run by other people, under their own terms. You reach them only by choosing to.
Asking for a copy, a correction, or removal
Write to the school office.
Quote the reference number from the email you received, if you have it — it lets the office find your submission at once.
